The W.S. George Pottery Company was a United States manufacturer with facilities in Ohio and Pennsylvania between 1904 and 1960 but went bankrupt in 1955 and underwent a name change. Derwood is a pattern of semi-porcelain dinnerware produced by the W.W. George Pottery Company of East Palestine OH from 1910-1940. This plate does have topcoat cracking due to age which adds to the aesthetic of antique jewelry.
